Practice & Cases

• Inpatient hospital coverage at a Level II trauma center
• Adult patient population
• Consults, rounding, and emergent ophthalmology cases
• Management of globe ruptures required

Schedule

• 24-hour call during assigned coverage blocks
• One-week coverage blocks
• Ongoing recurring availability
• Short-term commitment with recurring opportunities

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active Georgia license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification
• Board Certified in Ophthalmology
• BLS and DEA required

Logistics

• Travel, lodging, mileage, rental car, and airfare are not provided
• Local and regional candidates preferred
