Company Overview
Our mission is to provide comprehensive surgical and consultative management of medical and surgical diseases of the eye as well as the most current procedures for the correction of refractive errors of the eye. Our team is made up of 7 board certified physicians.
Our clinic provides various laser treatment modalities including argon, YAG and excimer lasers. Our clinics are adjacent to the Lincoln Surgicl Hospital which provides our patients access to one of Nebraska's most economical, efficient and modern outpatient facilities.
Company History
Eye Surgical Associates is the oldest and largest ophthalmology practice in the city of Lincoln, with a long tradition of service to patients and referring doctors. The practice was founded in 1940 by Maynard Wood, M.D. and merged with Sutton Skin and Eye owned by ophthalmologist Greg Sutton, M.D. and dermatologist, Margaret Sutton M.D. in 1982. The two organizations branched into Eye Surgical Associates and Sutton Ryan Dermatology and built a modern 17,500 square foot facility in 1994 at the present location at 1710 South 70th Street.
Eye Surgical Associates currently has 7 Ophthalmologists who provide comprehensive surgical and consultative management of medical and surgical diseases of the eye as well as the most current procedures for the correction of refractive errors of the eye. Sutton Linder and Sutton, a division of Eye Surgical Associates, also continues to be the leading LASIK provider in Lincoln and greater Lancaster County.
At Sutton Ryan Dermatology, the focus is on healthy skin. The board certified dermatologists and physician assistants of Sutton Ryan Dermatology are experienced in treating a wide range of skin conditions from cancers of the skin to diseases of the hair and nails. Sutton Ryan Aesthetic Center, a division of Sutton Ryan Dermatology also provides services that utilize proven scientific methods to design a personalized skin care program based on each individual’s needs.
