Carolina Ophthalmology, PA, is a comprehensive eyecare practice with three locations including Hendersonville, Asheville and Franklin, North Carolina. We also maintain a satellite location, the Mitchell/Yancey Cataract center which operates out of the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine, NC. Our specialties include fellowship trained surgeons in cornea and external disease, glaucoma, and retina and vitreous. We also have an aesthetics division, Carolina Skin and Laser, whereby we offer oculoplastic surgery, the Cutera Titan laser, Botox injections, Juvederm, laser skin resurfacing, and the Obagi Skin Care system. We enjoy an excellent reputation and have a large, established referral base. Recently voted as one of the “Top Ten Best Places to Live”, our desirable western North Carolina area is located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains and offers an exceptional quality of life including cultural events, abundant outdoor and recreational opportunities, excellent schools, and an enjoyable year round climate.

Our practice was established in 1980 and has six ophthalmologists and approximately 50 employees working in our three locations.
