Lee Health is seeking a Pediatric Ophthalmologist!

Located near the beaches of Southwest Florida is Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida - a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. This 134 bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only children’s hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services to take care of all of our community’s children from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more.  The hospital has a 16 bed PICU and a 70bed NICU with 24 hour in house neonatology coverage.  The Pediatric Hospitalists team admit the majority of the patients for Ophthalmology.

Position Information:

LPG – Pediatric Ophthalmology is seeking a full time physician BC/BE in Ophthalmology to join their busy three physician practice.  Candidates for this position will be fellowship trained in Pediatric Ophthalmology. This practice has an outpatient clinic in Fort Myers.  Call for this position will be 1:4 for coverage of the Pediatric ER and practice call.  Candidates for this position will be interested in doing cases involving eye muscle surgery, nasolacrimal duct probings, ptosis repairs, dermoid excisions, chalazion excisions. repair of eyelid lacerations, and globe injuries. 

Ophthalmologist will be located in a newly renovated building with the latest technology.
