Description

Virginia Eye Institute (VEI), one of the most diverse and highly respected physician-owned, multi-specialty ophthalmology and optometry practices in Virginia, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Comprehensive Ophthalmologist with a strong focus on cataract surgery.

You will join a team of 40+ providers across seven full-service locations in Central Virginia, with subspecialty support in cornea/refractive, glaucoma, retina, pediatrics/strabismus, and oculoplastics. This role will replace a retiring physician and inherit a robust patient base and referral network.

VEI owns a state-of-the-art ASC with 6 operating rooms, performing over 10,000 surgical and laser procedures annually. A clearly defined partnership track is offered based on superior patient outcomes, engagement, and leadership within the practice.

Requirements

MD/DO, Board Certified or Eligible in Ophthalmology
Excellent surgical skills and patient care focus
